Register an FLL Team
Please note that registration for the 2008 Climate Connections season is now closed.
Visit the FLL Country Forums to learn about registration in your specific country, or in the U.S. and Canada you can go straight to registration (currently closed for the 2008 season). Either way, make sure you come back to create your Team Site!

Team Registration Basics - U.S. and Canada
- Each Operational Partner sets registration, product purchase and the season schedule for the country (ies) they manage.
- Teams can purchase the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT set with associated support products as part of their team registration. Teams only need to purchase the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT set with associated support products the first year they become an FLL Team.
- The Field Setup Kit contains the rollout mat and mission models that teams need for participation in the robot game portion of FLL. Each team is only allowed to purchase one Field Setup Kit.
- The Team Registration cost may or may not include and be separate from the Event Registration fees that organizers decide to charge for participation in their event.
- Once you have registered your team, don’t forget to come back and set up your Team Site, the online place for your team to personalize its FLL season experience.
- FLL Team Registration opens in May and closes when all slots are filled or late September, whichever comes first. Slots can fill quickly so it is best to register and complete payment early (product ships only when payment is complete).
- Team Registration includes your online Team Site, FIRST LEGO League Coaches’ Handbook, FIRST Compilation DVD, Challenge Project Training DVD, 2 FLL pins, and support from FIRST headquarters.
- The FLL Robot Set and Field Setup Kit are products that teams can order at the same time they purchase their team registration. Teams only need to purchase the FLL Robot Set the first year they become an FLL Team.
- The Field Setup Kit contains the rollout mat and mission models that teams need for participation in the robot game portion of FLL. Each team should purchase one Field Setup Kit.

Have contact information (including e-mail address) for the team's coach (or main contact) available, along with payment info and billing address. Make sure to read through the Important Registration Information on the first page of that registration site - it's there to help you!
